On Saturday, February 15, 2003, Lu returned from a gig in Pampa, Texas, in time to go to Dealy Plaza in downtown Dallas to be on stage for a song with protesters against the then still impending war with Iraq."It's ironic," she said, "that I sang at that same location over 30 years ago when we were protesting the Vietnam War. Exact same location. Amazing!" Read Lu's "Dubya" song, written way back when George W. Bush was still Governor of Texas and only dreaming of White House residency.
